SAJST Transition to PTI Platform

Following an earlier announcement made in January 2026, the Southeast Asian Journal of Science and Technology (SAJST) has officially completed the transfer of its hosting to the Philippine Technical Institute (PTI), effective April 6, 2026. The journal is now accessible through its new domain: sajst.pti.edu.ph. The migration is part of a journal initiative to enhance its network and strengthen long-term indexing and publication capabilities. With this transition, PTI takes on a more central role in managing and supporting academic publications.

In the same development, Asian Journals, which hosts the Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (AJMS), will also undergo a similar domain transition under PTI management. This coordinated effort reflects a unified approach to improving accessibility, system performance, and sustainability of journal platforms.

However, the transition is expected to temporarily affect article indexing and accessibility. The journals have advised that updates in Google Scholar may take approximately two (2) weeks to fully stabilize. During this period, users may encounter intermittent downtime or reduced visibility of indexed articles due to domain changes and re-indexing processes. The editorial team has extended its sincere apologies to readers, authors, and researchers for any inconvenience caused, emphasizing that these temporary disruptions are part of a necessary and strategic upgrade.

Meanwhile, PTI has also formally launched a new academic journal, the Philippine Journal of Basic Studies (PJBS), now available at pjbs.pti.edu.ph. The new journal aims to provide an additional platform for scholarly publications across basic and multidisciplinary fields.

The transition of SAJST and AJMS, along with the introduction of PJBS, provides PTI’s growing commitment to advancing research dissemination and strengthening academic publishing in the region.
